Chain Link Fabric
DescriptionWoven wire usually made from galvanized or PVC coated galvanized steel wire. The wires run vertically and are bent into a zig-zag pattern so that each "zig" hooks with the wire immediately on one side and each "zag" with the wire immediately on the other. This forms characteristic diamond pattern seen in this type of fence.
Typical Specifications
Wire Diameter : 2mm (14-1/2GA by BWG or 14GA by USG) to 4.2mm (8GA by BWG or 8-1/2GA by USG).
Wire Tensile Strength : Wire Tensile is in the range of 35-55 Kgf
Zinc Coating : 40Gms to 610Gms

Height : 900mm to 4000mm
Selvage : Knuckled or Twisted.
Fabric with 2-in. [50.8mm] or 2-1/8-in. [54.0-mm] mesh, in heights less than 72 in [1829 mm], shall be knuckled at both selvages. Fabric 72 in. [1829 mm] high and over shall be knuckled at one selvage and twisted at the other. These are standard selvages. Other selvage combinations will be supplied only if specified by the purchaser.Usually selvages for fabrics less than 2-in. [50.8mm] shall be knuckled at both edge.
