  They are suitable for a wide range of mesh counts—from coarse mesh #10–#80 used in general screening, to medium-fine mesh #100–#300 used in liquid filtration and particle separation.

  
  316 and 316L offer improved corrosion resistance, making them preferred for food processing, chemical liquids, and outdoor environments.

  
  316L is particularly suitable for fine mesh used in precision filters, thanks to its low carbon content and stable wire-drawing performance.

  Duplex stainless steels combine high mechanical strength with excellent resistance to chloride corrosion.

  
  They perform well in medium to fine mesh ranges (typically #40–#200) where higher pressure resistance is required, such as petrochemical filtration, seawater systems, and desalination equipment.
