Heavy Duty Bar Grating

19W4 Light Duty Welded Steel Bar Grating is one of the most commonly stocked grating and is used for pedestrian traffic only. Panels are manufactured to 2’ and 3’ widths, while providing standard lengths up to 24’ long. 19W4 Light Duty Grating is available in bearing bar sizes ranging from 3/4" to 2 1/2" depths and thicknesses of 3/16” and 1/8”. 19W4 is spaced 1-3/16” c.c. for the bearing bars and 4” c.c. for the cross rods. Typical applications include: catwalks, platforms, pedestrian trenches, pedestrian sump pits, stair treads, etc. Available finishes include mill, painted black, or hot dipped galvanized.

Spacing

The inherent strength of bar grating is partially dependent on the spacing between each bar. Our narrowest spacing, 7W4, is ADA approved. Spacing options are based on your configuration for 3/4" deep Carbon Steel Smooth Light-Duty Bar Grating.

15-W-4 Carbon Steel Light-Duty Bar Grating 75-15 Smooth (3/4" Depth)

15-W-4 welded, light-duty carbon steel bar grating is available in widths up to 3’ and lengths up to 24’. Available in bar thicknesses of 3/4" x 3/16". It is available in mill, painted black, and hot dipped galvanized . The light-duty carbon steel grating is manufactured by a resistance-weld process. Cross bars are fused to bearing bars to form a permanent joint. Bearing bars are spaced at 15/16” on center and cross bars are 4” on center. Available in smooth, serrated, and non-slip surfaces.
